GSR's Application
to M2,M3,N2,N3 vehicles
The Regulation also applies to trucks, specifically to heavy-duty trucks in the European Union (EU) with a gross vehicle weight exceeding 3.5 metric tons. This encompasses a wide variety of commercial vehicles, such as lorries, delivery trucks, buses, and coaches.
M2 -
Passenger Transport
Vehicles with more than 8 seats excluding the driver's seat and a gross vehicle weight of less than 5 tonnes. These are mainly used for passenger transportation.
M3 - Passenger Transport
Vehicles featuring more than 8 seats other than the driver's seat and having a gross vehicle weight exceeding 5 tonnes. They are designed for large - scale passenger transport.
N2 - Freight Transportation
Goods - carrying vehicles with a weight ranging from 3.5 tonnes to 12 tonnes. They play a crucial role in the transportation of various goods.
N3 - Freight
Transportation
Goods - hauling vehicles with a weight greater than 12 tonnes. These are typically used for heavy - duty freight transportation.

Intelligent Speed Assist
The AUTOEQUIPS' ISA system integrates map data of 27 countries and incorporates the Speed Limit Information Function (SLIF) combined with either the Speed Limit Warning Function (SLWF) or the Speed Control Function (SCF). When the vehicle speed exceeds the road speed limit requirements, it will transmit warning signals to assist the driver in maintaining a speed compliant with the road speed limit, thereby reducing traffic accidents caused by speeding.
