AUTOEQUIPS, a global pioneer in intelligent commercial vehicle safety, successfully concluded a highly impactful participation at Automotive World 2026, held from January 21 to 23 at the Tokyo Big Sight. AUTOEQUIPS’ presence at Booth W6-13 in West Hall-1 served as a dynamic hub for industry leaders, technology partners, and fleet operators, solidifying its commitment to shaping a safer and smarter future for global transportation.

The exhibition provided the ideal platform for AUTOEQUIPS to demonstrate its comprehensive suite of AI-driven safety technologies. Visitors experienced hands-on demonstrations of core systems designed to address critical challenges in commercial vehicle operations. The showcased portfolio included the AI-powered Blind Spot Detection (AI-BSD), Driver Drowsiness and Attention Warning (DDAW), Intelligent Speed Assistance (ISA), advanced Camera Monitor Systems (CMS), 360° Around View Monitors (AVM), and intelligent AI Dashcams.
A central focus of the booth was the advanced Camera Monitor System (CMS). The demonstration highlighted how this technology provides a reliable digital alternative to traditional side mirrors, offering wider viewing angles, superior performance in low-light and adverse weather conditions, and reduced aerodynamic drag. By delivering crisp, real-time video feeds to interior displays, the CMS enhances driver situational awareness while contributing to improved fuel efficiency and vehicle design flexibility. This modern approach to direct visibility resonated strongly with commercial vehicle manufacturers and fleet operators in attendance.

The Activue® AI BSD system drew significant attention for its innovative dynamic monitoring capability. Featuring auto-panning technology, the system intelligently adapts to the changing blind spots of articulated vehicles, offering real-time alerts for vulnerable road users. This proactive solution for complex urban environments was a key topic of discussion with visitors from the public transit and urban delivery sectors.

Furthermore, AUTOEQUIPS emphasized its holistic safety ecosystem, where driver-assistance systems like DDAW and ISA integrate seamlessly with recording and monitoring platforms like the MDVR. The 360° Around View Monitor was demonstrated as a transformative tool for eliminating low-speed maneuvering risks, appealing strongly to industries like construction, logistics, and bus transport.
“Automotive World Tokyo 2026 was an exceptional event for AUTOEQUIPS to connect with the heart of the Asian automotive industry,” said a company spokesperson. “We are thrilled by the level of engagement and insightful discussions we had with visitors from Japan and across the region. The positive response to our AI-enhanced solutions, particularly our integrated MDVR and adaptive BSD systems, confirms a strong market demand for intelligent safety that is both reliable and innovative. We leave Tokyo energized and more committed than ever to delivering technologies that solve real-world problems for our clients.”

Automotive World is Japan's premier exhibition for advanced automotive technologies, encompassing connected vehicles, EVs, and automated driving systems. AUTOEQUIPS' successful participation underscores the critical and growing role of specialized, AI-powered safety solutions within this broader innovation landscape.
AUTOEQUIPS looks forward to building on the connections and momentum established in Tokyo as it continues to advance its mission of setting new benchmarks for commercial vehicle safety worldwide.
